THE CONTEST "THE RACE OF SHIP MODELS"

"THE RACE OF SHIP MODELS"

April 8, 2017: Faculty of Transportation Engineering organized the contest "The race of ship models" for students of Ship Engineering major.

 


 

The contest attracted 16 teams for participation. It included two main parts: presentation of ship models such as design ideas, manufacture, and its aesthetics; trial run of these models on water. These ship models showed the creativeness of students and some outstanding features of the ship models.  The contest ended after more than two hours of exciting competition with the result as follows: 
 

- Team 58 KTTT (Young Buffalo) won the first prize.

- Team 58 KTTT (Determined Win) and Team 58 KTTT (Sky Ship) won the second prizes.

- Team 57 KTTT2 (The Moon Ship), 56 KTTT2 and  57 KTTT2 (Bulk Carrier Ship) won the third prizes.

 

 

 



The competition was a useful playground for students, encouraging the passion and creativity in doing research and manufacturing of students in Ship Engineering in particular and students of NTU in general.
