May 16th, 2016: the MoU signing ceremony between Nha Trang University and Asia Corp was held at NTU. Dr Trang Si Trung – The Rector of NTU, Mr. Ho Minh Chau – Chairman of the BOD and CEO of the company and other representatives from both parties attended the ceremony.
Training, Technology transfer and Social activities are the three main fields that both parties agreed to collaborate. In training, NTU will set up training courses to improve the quality of human resources of the company, support Tran Dai Nghia Economics and Engineering Vocational School (belong to Asia Corp) in student and staff training, meanwhile invite the leaders of the company to talk and teach NTU’s students some subjects related to practical production and business activities. In addition, Asia Corp will grant 10 scholarships per year (2 million VND/ scholarship), accept NTU’s students for internship and recruit them after graduation.
In terms of technology transfer, both parties will strengthen collaborating in doing research on production, engineering, automotive repair, transportation, services and tourism. Nha Trang University will send staff to survey, research and provide consultancy on production of the company, sponsor research findings publishment and seminars inside and outside the country, organize study trips for tourism and services in countries of the region and all over the world for officers of the two.
About community activities, Asia Corp and Nha Trang University will organize at least 2 activities for students (in March and October) with the budget of 10 million VND per activity and also organize social volunteer activities in the summer and Lunar New Year.
Asia Corp is a famous and prestigious company inside and outside the country with a wide range of businesses: supply of construction materials, security service, transportation service (Asia Yellow Taxi), production of unbaked construction materials, travel services such as city tour with electric cars, Vinpearl ticket selling, national and international tours. In addition, the company also participates in administration affairs in the field of education and training (Tran Dai Nghia Economics and Engineering Vocational School).
