VIETNAM - TAIWAN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCED AQUACULTURE

NTU-NTOU Joint International Conference on Advanced Aquaculture

5-6 April, 2016: Nha Trang University (NTU) and National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) jointly organized the third conference on aquaculture. Its name is “Vietnam - Taiwan International Conference on advanced aquaculture”. The conference has the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Trang Si Trung - Rector of NTU, Prof. Ching-Fong Chang, Rector of NTOU and 120 international and domestic participants representing the donors, businesses, scientists, lecturers, graduate students.
 


 

At the conference, 13 presentations showed the new findings in aquaculture by scientists such as indoor super- intensive farming technology of white leg shrimp, factors influencing larval culture of the aquarium Amano ShrimpCaridina multidentata, a holistic approach to the management of pond sediment,…
 

On this occasion, NTU and NTOU renewed the Memorandum of Understanding, through which the two sides continue to further expand cooperation in the fields of training, research and joint conference organization...
 


 

The conference announced the latest achievements of aquaculture to the community, domestic and international scientists, businesses; and created an opportunity for both parties to discuss and evaluate the current status, potential and strategic plan of developing advanced marine aquaculture technology of Vietnam and Taiwan. At the same time, the conference was a forum for scholars to exchange scientific information on advanced marine aquaculture technology, from which they will develop valuable marine objects of each country.
