PROFESSOR KURT INGAR DRAGET FROM NORWEGIAN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY VISITS NTU

July 20, 2016: Professor Kurt Ingar Draget from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) met with Assoc. Prof. Trang Si Trung, NTU Rector and staff and faculty representatives to discuss potential collaborations.
 


 

The discussion focused on strengths of both universities and cooperation possibilities in training and research. In particular, NTU will cooperate with a group of experts from NTNU to work on a proposal to submit for funding to promote student mobility between the two universities. 

In the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Kurt Ingar Draget conducted a seminar on “Gelatin based chewable tablets; Challenges and opportunities” with the faculties and students of the Faculty of Food Technology and Institute of Biotechnology and Environment.




NTNU is one of the leading universities in Norway with strengths on training and research in technology and natural sciences, social sciences, education and art, medicines, and architectures.  Currently, NTNU has 39,000 students and enrolls 380 PhD students yearly. About 6,500 bachelor and master degrees are awarded each year. NTNU has dozens of international student exchange programs and more than 300 cooperative or exchange agreements with 60 universities worldwide.
