BROODSTOCK MANAGEMENT IN AQUACULTURE In the morning of Friday, October 10, Institute of Aquaculture - Nha Trang University organizes international training course on Bloodstock Management in Aquaculture. Almost 50 trainees who are broodstock managers from from Bangladesh, China, India, Malawi, Maldives, Nigeria, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand participated the course. This is the second course organized by the collaboration among the Institute of Aquaculture, Network of Aquaculture Centres in Asia-Pacific and United Nations University Fisheries Training Programme, Holar University (Iceland), Deakin University, and The Department of Primary Industries, Victoria, Australia.         The training course aims to provide latest information and cutting edge knowledge for participants to improve ability of broodstock management contributing to the sustainable development of aquaculture in Asia Pacific. Besides participating in classes, trainees will take part into field trip to seacages and areas for aquaculture in Nha Trang Bay.
