AWARDS AT THE NATIONAL FISHERIES CONFERENCE On October 24 - 25, NTU staff participated The Fifth National Fisheries Conference for Young Researchers at Research Institute of Aquaculture No.1 in Bac Ninh province.    44 research reports were presented and many posters were displayed at the conference. They focused in aquatic genetics and breeding; nutrition and aquaculture technologies; pathology and environmental management of aquaculture; fisheries socioeconomic; fisheries preservation and processing; and development of aquatic resources.   Institute of Aquaculture represents Nha Trang University attended with 9 members who presented reports and introduced posters and won the first prize, two second prizes, and a third prize in the total of 9 awards given to the speakers of the conference.       The conference is an annual activity of Vietnam Fisheries and Aquaculture Institution Network (ViFINET) for young researchers to exchange scientific information, encourage research activities and technology application in order to improve of human resource training in fisheries and aquaculture in Vietnam.
